Let us eat (cup)Cakes!

Have you noticed that cupcakes have grown increasingly popular?  They're not just for elementary school birthday parties anymore.  My husband's cousin had a cupcake "wedding cake" at his wedding this past spring.

And just tonight on the local news, they were featuring a bakery that ONLY sells cupcakes!  (Mental note: must find out where that shop was and support my local economy!)

Well, scrapbooking isn't immune to this new cupcake trend and for a limited time, you can get a free cupcake chipboard book with any $35 purchase.

Here's a link to see a finished project:
To get yours for free, enter in code cupcake55.  Remember that the minimum purchase has to be $35...which will be a cinch if you shop like I do. :o)  Here's a great paper pack that I think would go GREAT with this book.

Oh my...and here's something that is just TOO cute.  Especially if you're one who loves to entertain with cupcakes or if you are planning a special event that feature cupcakes.  I wish I'd had this YEARS ago.
Did you know that Sizzix made this stuff?  Oh, how I *wish* we had a craft store nearby!  I feel like I'm always the last to know about neat goodies like this!

Alright...that's enough for tonight!  All of a sudden I have an insatiable desire for something sweet!

Tired of Posts? Check THIS out!!!

Now, I won't say that this product will revolutionize your scrapping, but I will say that you MUST watch the demo video ASAP.

Pioneer has come up with a way to replace those (sometimes) annoying posts in post bound albums. I don't know about you, but whenever I need to add pages to my post bound albums (which is pretty much ALL of my albums), I almost never have the right size. And without having a craft store in my town (yes, pity me...every time I see a new building going up, I PRAY for a Hobby Lobby!), finding the right sized posts at Walmart isn't likely.

As soon as I can get my purse out when my dear hubby isn't looking *wink*, I am going to order SEVERAL of these. Although you can get one set for free with a $25 purchase at Scrapbook.com

Ok...

Here's the link below:

I know it doesn't look all that impressive, but trust me. Watch the demo video and you'll be sold.

Enjoy!

P.S. OOPS! I almost forgot to give you the coupon code to get one set for free with your $25 purchase! Use code snapload

More freebies, but not what you think

I know I am *supposed* to stay on topic here and ONLY talk scrapbooking, but I just can't help myself this time.

Although I will mention that I am anxiously awaiting my first photo book from Artscow.com My poor baby does have her own scrapbook album yet. I've gotten so far behind with everyone else that hers is going to be a digi-album, printed out. I had SO much fun playing with all her photos, but anyway...

Ok, the reason for my post today is a new site I created: Moms-Freebies.com

The motivation behind the site was another site called Freebie Force. I would send you right to their site, but you have to be referred by someone to get a free tour.

It's basically a site filled (and I do mean FILLED) with tons of freebies. I won't go into all the details here. Just go to Moms-Freebies.com and watch the short video on there. It's got TONS of freebies that I can't imagine anyone NOT finding something on there they'd like. Seriously.

And you don't have to do those dumb, tedious surveys that go on for 100 pages and then you get nothing.

Ok...that's enough non-scrapbook talk. Just wanted to share!

BIG big BIG big news!

I could hardly contain myself tonight as I shopped in our local Target. I walked past their scrapbook aisle and all I could see were those little red clearance tags. They were calling me...

So I walked down the aisle and, while at first glance I thought EVERYTHING was on clearance, it's not all their stock, but it sure is a bigger chunk than I've ever seen. Everything from their albums (in all sizes) to stickers (even those fancy paper-pieced ones), papers, page kits, card making supplies...

If I didn't have all 4 kids and a baby belly about to burst and ankles as swollen as my belly, I probably could have spent a good hour pouring over everything. SO...head on over to your local Target. You might be in for a pleasant surprise. Note: None of their totes or those white cube organizer things were on clearance. I know... I was hoping they would be, too.

On another note, Scrapbook.com is having a big celebration because they've now had over 100 million page views in their gallery! That's astounding! To make it special, they're offering their super popular Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch for 40% off with coupon code punch4545. But act fast because the code expires on August 14th at midnight.

And be sure to watch the video they have on the page above. If you've never heard of this, it's worth the watch.

Enjoy!
