Crafter's Workshop 12x12 Doodling Template - Dots All Around!

I'm pretty partial to circles and dots and swirls.  There's just something soothing and pleasant, visually, about curves.  Maybe that's why God made me female, although there are a few curves that are mine that are a little less than appealing, but that's for another blog. :o)

Anyway, Scrapbook.com has their 12 x 12 Doodling Template for nothin' today with any purchase of $30 or more.  Is it just me or are more layouts featured in scrapbook magazine featuring the dots that this little tool can do?

Here's the link so you can add it to your cart:

The code needed for this is dectemplate.

Just in time...Day #9

Ok...did I forget to mention that I might not post every special from Scrapbook.com?  Life gets, well, downright BONKERS around here at times and the last few days have been like that.

For example, my husband's grandparents called us saying they wanted to come see the baby and we had ONE HOUR before they arrived.  Yea...I sure wish I had vacuumed on Friday like I had planned to.  But I must say that it's amazing how much you can do in one hour when you have to. :o)

Anyway, today's special from Scrapbook.com is a big one.

Making Memories - Slice Cordless Design Cutter Machine - Starter Kit, BRAND NEW
Scrapbook.com

You really need to check out the demo video they have on the site.

Anyway, with your purchase, you'll get a rebate card for a free cartridge AND be entered into their contest for a trip to Disneyland!  Woo hoo!

Just use code decslice to get the special pricing!

Too Cute Gift Idea

For the second day of Christmas sales at Scrapbook.com, they've got an awesome deal on their Making Memories Photo Tray Kits...no coupon code needed, either!

Normally, these run for $22, but today they're 75% off and only $5.49...no limits either.  So if you want to make one for your mom, but mother in law will be upset because she didn't get one, well, you can make one for her, too!

Frankly, my mom wouldn't care much about something like this...she's about as sentimental as a door mat.  She even cut up my baby blanket, you know, the kind from the hospital, to make something for my little sister.  Yes...I could NOT make this up.  I'm getting over it, slowly, as it was ober 25 years ago. :o)

Anyway, sorry for that "rabbit trail"...

Be sure you take advantage of this before the end of the day because once it's December 3rd, there will be a new deal and this one will be history!

Here's a pic to entice you to click! *wink*

Personalized Photo Dog Tags

I got word that ArtsCow was having a sale on their dog tags and got a great idea!  You could make some of the cutest embellishments for your scrapbooks with these!  Since you can add a pic of anything on them, you could have them made up with a photo of your kids OR use an image of something like Christmas tree lights (yes, it's coming up SOON) or fall leaves or even Thanksgiving dinner!

They're only $.99 with free shipping if you use this code: 99DOGTAG

That code expires on November 20th.  Just FYI.

Enjoy creating with this unique idea!

Pretty Pink - F-r-e-e Princess Embellishment

This totally f-r-e-e with ANY purchase gift from Scrapbook.com couldn't come at a better time.  I know there will be TONS of photos taken on Halloween of precious princesses and you can get the felt embellishment for nothin' with any purchase.  Here's the photo...just add it to your cart along with something else and enter prettyprincess for the discount.

K and Company - Handmade Felt Name Sticker - Princess
Scrapbook.com

Also, if you're heading out to Target, be sure to stop by the end cap near the scrapbook stuff.  On Monday, I spotted some really great plastic storage containers on clearance.  They're the slim ones that look like those clipboards with storage inside.  I don't know how to describe them other than that, but they had 3 sizes.  The biggest was for 12 x 12 pages.  They had them in blue and pink and were under $10 for the set.  If I had room in my scrapbook armoire, I would have bought every last one they had. :o)

Hope you're enjoying some cooler fall weather.  The high temp here today is going to be 73 degrees!  It feels WONDERFUL!

Let us eat (cup)Cakes!

Have you noticed that cupcakes have grown increasingly popular?  They're not just for elementary school birthday parties anymore.  My husband's cousin had a cupcake "wedding cake" at his wedding this past spring.

And just tonight on the local news, they were featuring a bakery that ONLY sells cupcakes!  (Mental note: must find out where that shop was and support my local economy!)

Well, scrapbooking isn't immune to this new cupcake trend and for a limited time, you can get a free cupcake chipboard book with any $35 purchase.

Here's a link to see a finished project:
To get yours for free, enter in code cupcake55.  Remember that the minimum purchase has to be $35...which will be a cinch if you shop like I do. :o)  Here's a great paper pack that I think would go GREAT with this book.

Oh my...and here's something that is just TOO cute.  Especially if you're one who loves to entertain with cupcakes or if you are planning a special event that feature cupcakes.  I wish I'd had this YEARS ago.
Did you know that Sizzix made this stuff?  Oh, how I *wish* we had a craft store nearby!  I feel like I'm always the last to know about neat goodies like this!

Alright...that's enough for tonight!  All of a sudden I have an insatiable desire for something sweet!

Tired of Posts? Check THIS out!!!

Now, I won't say that this product will revolutionize your scrapping, but I will say that you MUST watch the demo video ASAP.

Pioneer has come up with a way to replace those (sometimes) annoying posts in post bound albums. I don't know about you, but whenever I need to add pages to my post bound albums (which is pretty much ALL of my albums), I almost never have the right size. And without having a craft store in my town (yes, pity me...every time I see a new building going up, I PRAY for a Hobby Lobby!), finding the right sized posts at Walmart isn't likely.

As soon as I can get my purse out when my dear hubby isn't looking *wink*, I am going to order SEVERAL of these. Although you can get one set for free with a $25 purchase at Scrapbook.com

Ok...

Here's the link below:

Pioneer - Scrapbook Binding System - Snap Load
Scrapbook.com

I know it doesn't look all that impressive, but trust me. Watch the demo video and you'll be sold.

Enjoy!

Susan

P.S. OOPS! I almost forgot to give you the coupon code to get one set for free with your $25 purchase! Use code snapload

More freebies, but not what you think

I know I am *supposed* to stay on topic here and ONLY talk scrapbooking, but I just can't help myself this time.

Although I will mention that I am anxiously awaiting my first photo book from Artscow.com My poor baby does have her own scrapbook album yet. I've gotten so far behind with everyone else that hers is going to be a digi-album, printed out. I had SO much fun playing with all her photos, but anyway...

Ok, the reason for my post today is a new site I created: Moms-Freebies.com

The motivation behind the site was another site called Freebie Force. I would send you right to their site, but you have to be referred by someone to get a free tour.

It's basically a site filled (and I do mean FILLED) with tons of freebies. I won't go into all the details here. Just go to Moms-Freebies.com and watch the short video on there. It's got TONS of freebies that I can't imagine anyone NOT finding something on there they'd like. Seriously.

And you don't have to do those dumb, tedious surveys that go on for 100 pages and then you get nothing.

Ok...that's enough non-scrapbook talk. Just wanted to share!

BIG big BIG big news!

I could hardly contain myself tonight as I shopped in our local Target. I walked past their scrapbook aisle and all I could see were those little red clearance tags. They were calling me...

So I walked down the aisle and, while at first glance I thought EVERYTHING was on clearance, it's not all their stock, but it sure is a bigger chunk than I've ever seen. Everything from their albums (in all sizes) to stickers (even those fancy paper-pieced ones), papers, page kits, card making supplies...

If I didn't have all 4 kids and a baby belly about to burst and ankles as swollen as my belly, I probably could have spent a good hour pouring over everything. SO...head on over to your local Target. You might be in for a pleasant surprise. Note: None of their totes or those white cube organizer things were on clearance. I know... I was hoping they would be, too.

On another note, Scrapbook.com is having a big celebration because they've now had over 100 million page views in their gallery! That's astounding! To make it special, they're offering their super popular Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch for 40% off with coupon code punch4545. But act fast because the code expires on August 14th at midnight.

Fiskars - Border Punch - Threading Water, BRAND NEW
Scrapbook.com

And be sure to watch the video they have on the page above. If you've never heard of this, it's worth the watch.

Enjoy!

Sizzix for 20% off...and some Awesome Basic Grey Deals

Ok...

I'm nesting.  I've had to move my gigantic scrapbook armoire out of what USED to be my craft room.  *tears*

But I've also started thinking about how I can use what I have to decorate the baby's room.  If you've ever made vinyl stickers for your walls, PLEASE email me or leave a comment!  I have been wanting to try making some vinyl stickers using contact paper and a die cut machine, but haven't gotten up the nerve yet!

Anyway, back to traditional scrapbooking.

Scrapbook.com has all their Sizzix on sale for 20% off!!  Here's one I've had my eye on:

Then there's also the Basic Grey assorted paper...kind of makes my mouth water looking at it!

Alright, now if you have any ideas on how to make those vinyl stickers for the wall, non-permanent, PLEASE let me know.  I'll be forever grateful!

Basic Grey - On SALE??

I've got baby on the brain...baby BOY that is.  I've never had an occasion to use "baby boy" stuff in my scrapbooks because, well, I've never had a baby boy.  Until now.  (Well, technically I don't "have" a boy, yet, but he's coming...)

Anyway, I found out that Scrapbook.com is clearing out their Basic Grey Oh! Baby Boy line.

How CUTE is that? Oh, and for those who have girl babies like me (yep, got both kinds :o), they have the Oh! Baby Girl line ready to clear out, too.

So now the question is, which album do I choose? I'm thinking about switching to 8x8...just don't seem to have time to do full 12 x 12 anymore.

Oh, and with all this talk about babies, be sure to wish your dad a Happy Father's Day!

Awesome deal for digital prints

Hey!

I know I have been away from the blog for a loooooong time. I've been battling some terrible morning sickness with my pregnancy and am just now starting to feel better after being basically a couch potato since January!

Anyway, I found this new digital prints site that is giving away 400 free digital prints (great way to finally get all those prints OFF your camera or computer!) AND a photo book for the first few members.

Since I just signed up today, I don't know how good the quality is or their customer service, but for 400 free prints and a photo book just for registering, I figured it was worth a shot.

Don't delay on registering. They're going fast and I can't promise that they'll still be offering this special when you try.

Here's the link:

CHA preview sale

Scrapbook.com is having a special 10% off sale (only until Feb. 13th) on ANYTHING to celebrate all the goodies that are going to be showing up at CHA. Just enter CHATEN and you'll get the discount on your entire order.

I'm looking forward to the K & Company line, but not the Basic Grey as much as I would have thought. With all girls, the Basic Grey line is a but too masculine for me. I am usually a big Basic Grey fan, too. :o( K & Company looks like they're following along the same line as BG.

Well, enough about my preferences. Be sure to check out the cute Easter goodies they have too! I think Easter is going to come early this year, so it's not too early.

Enjoy!

ADORE-able!! More freebies from your favorite Scrapbook Store!

I must admit that I am not a big Valentine's person. My husband calls it a "Hallmark" holiday because he doesn't see the value in it. He's not unromantic, just thinks that any day should be a good day to tell someone how much you love them. I say all that and yet he will still do something for me on Valentines. :o)

While I encourage you all to do a quick study of the REAL St. Valentine (very romantic story from the Middle Ages, I think), here's some truly LOVELY items that would make great Valentine's Day gifts...and they're free.

The first is a cute pink heart shaped hanging magnet board...it would look SO cute all dolled up for Valentine's Day and make a great gift to a special friend or even for Mom or Grandma. It's magnetic, so it can be a mini note keeper or just use an altered magnet to post your favorite photo of the month. It's free with any $35 purchase using the code magnetheart.

The second thing is a rectangle basket purse. Just like the magnet board, it would look so cute all dolled up with ribbons and "girly" paper for a special Valentine's gift. Fill it with chocolates and it will make anyone smile! It's also free with any $35 purchase using the code basketpurse.

BUT...

If you want BOTH (and who wouldn't??), you CAN with a $65 purchase and coupon code heartandbasket. I tell you, the folks at Scrapbook.com think of EVERYTHING, don't they? :o)

Well, don't dilly dally...February is just around the corner. Enjoy creating special Valentine's gifts for everyone.
