Question of the week...

I got a great idea from Rhonda (thanks for your comment! :o) and was wondering how far behind is everyone on their scrapbooking? Basically I just want to feel better about how far behind I am. I am doing one album per daughter (4) and don't even have any family albums. I think I am up to about August 2005 in each album, although the baby wasn't born then, so I am only 5 months behind on hers! UGH!
So, post your comments. Let me, and others, know how far behind you are on your albums. If you aren't behind, PLEASE share your anti-procrastination tips!
Until next time...

I would be surprised to hear of anyone who is further behind than I!! My daughter is 6 and I have her book done up until about 9 months old. My son is 4 and his book is probably done through six months. I have started a family album but it only has two pages finished!!!! We live on a military base overseas and our house is very small. By the time I drag out all my scrap materials and get situated I usually only have a few minutes before I have to be somewhere or do something else. Maybe when I have a craft room I will get caught up...or maybe not!!!

I have two kids for whom I am making scrapbooks. I don't necessarily make pages by date. Mostly I go by theme, and often I'll pull photos from many dates to match the theme, such as "backyard waterpark." It's hard to say how far behind I am, but I haven't scrapped in almost a year. I've been meaning to, but it seems my time is divided between making cards, invitations, sewing, and cooking...oh and motherhood. :) I do need a table dedicated to scrapbooking so I can just jump in and do a few minutes at a time, as was mentioned by another comment. I know I have the capability to do that, but again it's finding time to re-do my craft room!

Thanks for your interest!

I am currently working on our family album - it's to August 2005, Jack's album - it's to July 2005 and Allison's album - I have lots written in that one but only a few pages of pictures so far.
I take a million pictures - so sometimes the amount of pictures waiting to be scrapbooked is daunting. I can only DREAM of a dedicated scrapbooking room or area for that matter ... I scrap on our dining room table. Gotta love the LACK of space in base housing. :)
As I tell my hubby, "I have the scrapping bug" right now - so I hope to do several pages this week as time allows. I'm fortunate that Jack leaves my stuff alone (for the most part) and Allison is too little to get into it. Does that tell you how few "formal" meals I make that I can sometimes leave my stuff out on thr table?!? hee hee

Happy scrappin'
